I was a pupil of Yenny Kim Wan's. I went to his house at 6 pm yesterday. A few minutes after 6.40 pm. on the 10th of January, Chan, Sui-ham (a friend of the deceased) came to the Central Station and reported that a man had been shot at and wounded. Chief Detective Inspector Hanson was sent and went with Chan to Aberdeen Street. They saw that Yenny Kim Wan had been shot. I have already described him. I doubt whether I could identify him.
I heard the shot. I looked up and saw that he was standing by the table. I ran away. I said eight men in Aberdeen Street. They looked like shopkeepers. The sufferer was removed to Hospital.

Height 5'8". Dark complexion. Medium build. About 30 years of age. Dressed in a short dark-blue jacket, wore leggings, shoes, and stockings.
In Sam Ka Lane, I was told that Rin Wan was the man that had been wounded and that he had been removed to Hospital.
After making a thorough search of the premises, the C.D.D. returned to the Central and communicated with me, and then went to the Civil Hospital where he found that Dr. Bell had already taken the dying declaration of the injured man.
The C.D.D. then put some further questions and recorded the declaration, and then returned to the Central Station where he informed me of the purport of the dying declaration of Yenny to his...
